Bright Futures Daycare Center
 
Project Description:  This project involves the demolition of the existing structure and new construction of a daycare facility as shown on drawings.  Building area = 8500 S.F.  Also included is associated site work such as parking lot and landscape.
 
Sealed bids for Bright Futures Daycare Center will be received by Bright Futures Daycare at the office of The City of Higginsville until 4 o'clock P.M., CDT January 23, 2012, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.
 
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

Copies may be obtained at the office of ArchiTuckture, Dennis E. Tuck, 12319 Moffit Rd, Liberty, MO upon payment of $25 for each set of hard copies, or $10 for .pdf format on CD.  Plans and/or CD’s for this project are non-refundable. NO PARTIAL SETS WILL BE ISSUED.
 
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
 
Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
 
Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246.
 
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
 
 
A pre-bid meeting for this project to include a site visit will begin at 715 E. Main Street, Higginsville, MO 64037 beginning at 3:00 pm on January 6, 2012
